Time (Part 2)

If I were god, would I
flip through the pages
of time like
a photography magazine
or treat it like
holographic images,
enabling me to enter
the past and alter the future
or destroy the future and
end everything with the
present with the touch of
a finger, or would I be
both in time and out of it,
confined like a mortal to
the hours, days, months
and years, waiting it out
while my overarching plan
of redemption or annihilation
comes to fruition,
while simultaneously viewing
everything from a birds-eye-view,
JFK dying and Socrates’ birth,
the beginning when the world
began with a whisper, and the end,
when fire consumes the atoms
and molecules.
