Free

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion. – Albert Camus

The wind soughs through the wayward pines,

past the dilapidated mines,

beckoning me to join it,

to walk away and admit

my need to be wild and free,

to look past the grey and see

the wind soughing through wayward pines,

past the dilapidated mines.
